BENUE STATE UNIVERSITY, MAKURDI IS TO START FACULTY OF COMMUNICATION WITH THREE DEPARTMENTS. 


Benue state University, Makurdi is to start  unbundling of the department of Mass Communication with three degrees, the HOD of the department professor Rodney Saawuan Ciboh disclosed this to BSU FM on Monday 20th of January 2020. Prof. Ciboh said the unbundling which is the NUC directive is base on each school capacity and competency so department of Mass Communication in BSU under his leadership with start offering three degrees which he mentioned are.

1.Bsc journalism and media studies.

2. Broadcasting and film studies

3. Advertising and Public Relations


The HOD also said that he already sent the proposal to the deputy Vice Chancellor Academics for the start off and the university will soon advertise the programs.
